Punctuation and capitalisation are decided by meaning rather than by where you paused, so stopping to think mid-sentence doesn't cost you a full stop. A system keyboard puts it in every app on the phone; the Mac app puts it anywhere you can type.

Use the Windows keyboard you already know on the Mac you want to use. Familiar Ctrl, Alt, Finder, Terminal, screenshot and window shortcuts are applied only to the keyboards you choose, while the built-in Apple keyboard stays unchanged. Free, open source and reversible.
